New York City’s marketing and tourism organization, the NYC & Company, has announced that 15 city hotels will participate in a Third Night promotion this winter.

Any guest who will book and pay for two consecutive nights at the 15 participating hotels from January 4 to February 28, 2010 will get a complimentary third night. Participating hotels include the Carlyle, Hotel Plaza Athenee, Loews Regency, London NYC, Mandarin Oriental, New York Palace, Peninsula New York, Pierre, Plaza, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Sherry-Netherland, Surrey, Trum International Hotel & Tower and Waldorf Towers.

In addition, guests will receive a VIP shopping package from Saks Fifth Avenue. Package includes a personal shopping experience at the Fifth Avenue Club, discounts and complimentary coffee and dessert at the store’s Cafe SFA.

Rates at the London NYC, for example, start at $299 per night and taxes are 14.75 percent. Plus $3.50 per room per night.

Numerous cruise specials are being offered by major cruise line companies. One such cruise specials is being offered by Crystal Cruises where kids 17 years old and younger cruise for free on two Crystal Symphony European voyages this summer.
