Book a trip that includes four nights aboard the Yangzi Explorer and receive an upgrade to a Wu deck suite, a savings of up to $636 per person. This however depends on sailing date. The trip normally starts at $2,499 per person double for the June 10, July 15 and August 19 departures and includes seven nights in five-star hotels in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. It is $2,699 for other departure dates.

As of May 18, 2010, General Tours World Traveler also offers 9 to 17 days tour for just $1,799.

It also offers a 10 day China Sampler for just $1,899, a savings of $200 per couple. This 10 day small group escorted tour features 4 and 5 star hotels, 18 meals, comprehensive sightseeing, luggage handling, all on-tour transportation and 2 internal flights. Numerous cruise specials are being offered by major cruise line companies. One such cruise specials is being offered by Crystal Cruises where kids 17 years old and younger cruise for free on two Crystal Symphony European voyages this summer.
