Northwest Airlines is offering inexpensive airline tickets starting at $49 for travel between select U.S. cities. Fare is one way and requires a round trip ticket purchase. Interested customers who want to avail of this airfare special must purchase the round trip ticket 14 days in advance but no later than May 18, 2009 for travel up to September 14, 2009.
A great example of a $49 summer fare sale is a trip to and from Baltimore and Detroit and Detroit and Chicago (O’Hare). Additional taxes, fees and other airport charges may apply.
NWA second lowest airfare special is priced at $69 for trips to and from Atlanta and Detroit and Boston and Raleigh/Durham. Great price for people who will be traveling this summer.
