Central Holidays is offering a deal on its eight-night City Duet packages to Rome plus one of four European cities. The lowest rate is for Rome and Paris which starts at $1,049 per person double and includes round-trip air from Washington; flight between Rome and Paris; four nights’ lodging in each city; daily breakfast; city tour in both destinations; hotel taxes and service charges.
Other vacation packages are Nice from $1,079 (no city tour), London from $1,219 and Athens from $1,449. Up to $153 in air taxes are additional. Book by January 15 for travel by March 25.

You can spend four nights and get the fifth night free at Cannel Bay on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Jumby Bay in Antigua, among others.
The Carlyle starts at $594 a night, plus taxes of $90, but with this offer, guests pay only $1,376 for three nights, including taxes. Travel period is from January 3, 2010 to May 30, 2010.
